The New Year is here, and with that, conference play is set to be in full swing.

This past weekend, fans were treated to an outstanding Big East heavyweight matchup as Tyler Kolek and the Marquette Golden Eagles secured an impressive victory over Creighton. With the win, Shaka Smart’s team tied the Big East record with their 20th consecutive home conference victory.

Meanwhile, in Pac-12 country, Caleb Love and the Arizona Wildcats fell to a Stanford team that shot 16-of-25 (64%) from 3-point range, dropping Tommy Llyod’s team to 1-1 in conference play.

With that said, FOX Sports bracket forecaster Mike DeCourcy is here to provide an updated look at his NCAA Tournament projections.

UConn (East) jumped up to a No. 1 seed following Arizona’s unforeseen loss. The Huskies are joined by Houston (South), Purdue (Midwest) and Kansas  (West) as the top seeds in DeCourcy’s projections. Alex Karaban and the Huskies take on DePaul in a Big East tilt Tuesday night, while the Boilermakers hit the road to take on Maryland in a Big Ten matchup.

Marquette jumped up in DeCourcy’s projections following that win over Creighton, joining Memphis, Kentucky and Tennessee on the 2-seed line. Meanwhile, Arizona is listed as a No. 3 seed, along with North Carolina, Clemson and Illinois.

Colorado State, Florida Atlantic, Oklahoma and Wisconsin appear as No. 4 seeds in DeCourcy’s latest bracket projections.

As for the teams on the bubble, DeCourcy has Drake, Wake Forest, Butler and Florida as his first four teams out of the tournament, while TCU, Saint Joseph’s, St. John’s and Cincinnati make up his next four out.

The Big Ten, Big 12 and SEC have the most representatives in DeCourcy’s compilation, leading the way with eight teams. The Big East, ACC and Mountain West have five teams represented, while the Pac-12 has three teams and the AAC has two.

Here are the complete brackets from DeCourcy:
